Course Offerings
Grammar School (K-4th) and Logic School (5th - 8th):
Traditional core subjects such as English, Math, Science, History and Geography are supplemented by classes in music, art, library, physical education and Latin.
Rhetoric School (9th - 12th):
Six blocks of core courses are predetermined by the CPLS board and laid out using a college preparatory curriculum. Our older students are taught via a "block" schedule with each core course meeting for a 90-minute block every other day, through a two-week cycle. The other 90 minutes of each day are broken down into two blocks of 45-minute elective courses. Elective courses may include choir, yearbook/journalism, logic, church history, Madrigals, Latin, Greek, orchestra, geology and Shakespeare.
